Having worked as a psychotherapist for the last 22 years, helping my clients overcome anxiety I wanted to reach out to a broader audience hence why I wrote the book.

Anxiety in the UK population has reached epic proportions as people struggle with the cost-of-living crisis, energy prices, political turmoil and Christmas fast approaching.

51 percent of people who had not previously been diagnosed with anxiety and a mental health condition reported feeling overwhelmed with anxiety about the energy price cap rise this winter and with Christmas 6 weeks away, the anxiety is growing.

 According to data collected by YOUGov on behalf of the BPS (The British Psychological Society), 61 percent of all females reported feeling more anxious about being able to pay their bills than they did this time last year compared with 47 percent of males. 30 percent of females said worrying about money made them feel depressed, compared with 26 percent of males.

I suffered from anxiety since the age of 5 and suffered with an eating disorder for 15 years before overcoming my illness and training as a psychotherapist, hypnotherapist and NLP practitioner to help others.
